Farndon is a village is Cheshire West and Chester. It sits on the bank of the River Dee, south of Chester, which forms the English-Welsh border. As it is adjacent to the border, it is also known as Rhedynfre in Welsh.
Its dual name reflects the area’s historical importance as a place of conflict and cultural exchange since the Angles settled in the area. The political border has moved back and forth over the centuries and it has formed part of either England or Wales several times.
If you need advice concerning any family matter, our divorce lawyers can assist you within the Farndon area.
